A happy parent is a good parent
The demands placed on today’s parents of young children are greater than ever. Parents are expected to be everything at once – conscious, wise, and constantly present for their children, while performing at work as if they never became parents. It is an impossible equation.
The consequences are clearly reflected in the research: an increasing number of parents are experiencing parental burnout – a form of exhaustion that undermines both personal health and family well-being.
With a basic understanding of human performance, and through the use of simple, practical techniques, parents can perform better – for themselves and for their children.
